Derek Costella was out in full force for the pit bike national. Costella went 1 – 1 in the MM16 Expert class.

Same with PitsterPro’s Brad Ripple (304). He had a great evening of racing. “The Ripple Effect” ended up going 2-3 in both his classes (10 inch and 12 inch expert).

Duane Brown (360) blitzing the whoops section of the track at Extreme. He finished 2nd in both the 35+ motos.

JJW Designs rider Justin Wharton lays the bike down and twists the throttle.

In the youth divisions, Factory Pitster Pro / Define The Moment 16 year-old sensation Kevin Flynn (62) was the class of the field. Flynn won all 4 motos he entered.

The sunset was out for some beautiful scenery to say the least. BBR’s Adam Town (349) just happened to be racing when I was photographing the landscape.

jb6y0012.jpg
Brad Ripple (304) blasts through the berm. Ripple is sporting the new Extreme Motorsports / Define The Moment GoPro helmet cam. Due to technical difficulties, the helmet cam footage did not turn out. We’ll make sure to correct these problems next time though.

Another rider in the 16 inch Expert class was the 781 of Jack Hoobler. He looks determined to put down a smooth lap, consistency is what wins championships… he went 4 – 4 and took 4th overall.

jb6y0091.jpg

Rockstar Energy Drink’s Joey Lancaster (101) gets a good handful of throttle before lauching into the whoops.

jb6y0058.jpg
There was a great battle between Mike Forney (609) and Lukas Martin (10) for a few laps here.

jb6y9914.jpg

To try and save some precious time, Derek Costella gets low to the ground and soaks up the jumps.

jb6y9970.jpg

Ryan Abrigo showed some great speed and won 3 motos on the evening. Here he’s seen attacking the whoops.

jb6y9933.jpg
The fans came out to watch the pit bike action unfold all night long.

jb6y0064.jpg
Pierce Rehn (31X) gets his leg up high to corner, as many do on the small pit bikes. He ended up finishing 5th in his first moto, but didnt line up for the 2nd.

jb6y9922.jpg

Tyler Vanzandt (151) putting down some very impressive laps during his moto’s.

jb6y0185.jpg
Just one of the great battles going on for position.

jb6y0072.jpg
Pitster Pro rider Matt Fhuere (41) looks forward to see what the next section of the track has to hold for him. Matt finished the night off by placing 3rd overall in the 35+ class.

jb6y0126.jpg

BBR’s Greg Crater (285) putting on a show for the fans, as he wheelies across the whoops.

jb6y9961.jpg

#224 Ty Baker attempts to blast through the corner and gain some ground on the race out front.

jb6y9930.jpg

BBR rider Duane Brown (12) soars, even on a pit bike.

jb6y0082.jpg

Aaron Lind (517) rips across the whoops.

jb6y0162.jpg
A big contender in the Expert 150 class was Larry Gipson (96).

jb6y9920.jpg

Flynn (62) flying to yet another victory.

jb6y0217.jpg
Doing the impossible Joey Lancaster (101) rode the last 3 laps of the 2nd 12 inch Expert moto with no foot pegs. You can see the foot pegs dangling off the frame here.

jb6y9898.jpg

Larry Doble (522) looks back to see just where the rest of the competition is.

jb6y0139.jpg
Giving Flynn a run for his money (and the Redline bikes) waa Tyler Vanzandt (65).

jb6y0045.jpg

Looking fast all night was Kory Ellison on the 310.

jb6y9963.jpg

Little guys on little bikes, now this one makes sense!

jb6y0116.jpg
Costella ended up racing in 3 different classes. The 10 inch, 12 inch, and 16inch Expert classes.

jb6y0214.jpg
The checkered flag waves as Abrigo (103) takes home the victory in 12 inch Expert.

Trevor Teal (72) was charging through the pack in the 12 inch Amateur class.

Hey it looks like somebody did not read the rules and nobody checked what was going on. The winner of the 16a ( Larry Doble )was riding a 150 R bike which was not supposed to be in the aircooled only class. He won the race. You guys posted a picture of him on his bike looking for the competition, what do you think with 30 hp against a bunch of play bikes with less than 12 hp ?
